Hi I'm Beckie one of the vets!
I qualified as a vet in 2014 from Glasgow University. I then worked in a busy small animal practice in Lancashire, before starting work at Andale Veterinary Centre in December 2015. My main area of interest is small animal medicine and I enjoy the variety that general practice provides.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the gym and running or walking with my beautiful Springer Cross Indi.

I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2014 and spent my first two years in a very busy small animal practice in Staffordshire before coming over to Andale at the end of 2016. I'm keen on all aspects of small animal practice but particularly enjoy working with exotic animals and have an interest in reproduction medicine and surgery.
When not in work I like to spend time at the gym and the cinema and can often be spotted out exploring the streets and getting the step count up on my FitBit!"
I qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2011. Following graduation, I completed a small animal rotating internship at a nearby referral centre. I then worked in a busy small animal practice to gain experience including out of hours’ emergency work before joining the Andale team in 2013.
I have a keen interest in Anaesthesia and Emergency Medicine but also enjoy the variation that general practice provides. I am currently working towards an Advanced Veterinary Practitioner qualification.
Out of work I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym, and spending time with horses. We have a little dog called Maggie who enjoys nothing more than running for her ball!
I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2008 and joined the Andale team in 2014. Prior to this I worked in several busy small animal practices and also spent a year at the Royal Veterinary College teaching surgical and consultation skills to the final year veterinary students (you may have caught a glimpse of me on the BBC programme ‘Young Vets’!). I enjoy all aspects of veterinary practice and I endeavour to provide the best possible care for your pets. I am currently undertaking further qualifications in small animal medicine to become an RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioner.
In my free time, I enjoy keeping fit and travelling. Last year I spent 2 weeks volunteering in Malawi with the charity Mission Rabies, who aim to eliminate rabies through the vaccination of dogs. It was a tiring but incredibly rewarding trip and we managed to vaccinate over 21,000 dogs in 2 weeks.
I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017 and have recently joined the Andale team. During my time at University I did a lot of my placements at Andale and so I am thrilled to be joining the team full time.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friend, going to the gym and travelling to different places.
